I have worked with Beth, John and their children for so long, that they feel like family. We started together when Margaret, their youngest, was just a few months old. And now, over three years later, three beautiful girls, lots of trust, and a gorgeous and growing wall art display at their home. This is the stuff of a dream job.
I had the pleasure of shooting Rachel and Sam’s wedding two years ago, and was so delighted that they asked me to come shoot their newest addition, little Molly. She’s a precious addition to their fun-loving family. Many congratulations Rachel and Sam!And what’s a baby session without a little spit up?! Forgive me, Molly, I couldn’t resist.
Whoa have I ever been out of touch! I’ve been shooting every day, morning and evening, for the last several weeks. With impending Hurricane Sandy, I have a few moments to gather my work and post a bit. Unfortunately, with our power most likely to go out tomorrow, my unplanned few days without a shoot won’t allow me to catch up on image procession!…
I’ve been working with Jen and Myke for four years now. In fact, they were some of my first clients, participating in a mini session when Jen was seven months pregnant with little Jimmy. I then did Jimmy’s newborn session, where we began to build a collection of wall art for the family. Jen’s very good about printing pieces that the family and guests…

It has been a while since I uploaded my images from a shoot and was shocked at what popped onto the screen. Remember with film, when you just had a feeling of what your pictures…
On Sunday we were at the National Zoo for mini sessions, what a great location. I will definitely be setting up more sessions there over the summer. If you’re interested in knowing when, let me know and I will add you to the list. I was actually amazed at how both convenient and versatile the location was. We had a blast playing and following…
One of the things that I have gotten away from on this blog is to talk about why I like the images that I post up here. This is the second post from day two of our Cherry Blossom Mini Sessions, which were held on Sunday down at the Tidal Basin. It rained/drizzled/ (in guatemala, they call drizzle chipi-chipi – which i think is…
Thanks to the rains yesterday, we had gorgeous morning light for our first Mini Session this morning! Such fun and adventurous personalities showed up and shone for the camera. Family photography is a blast for me because every shoot is different from the next. As I was saying in an earlier post, portraits are about people and great light. As you can see below,…
