There is nothing that’s more satisfying for me than having a client place a really great wall art order. These three from Lynn and Duane’s e-session just came in and I couldn’t be more excited to deliver them.
We looked at photos of their home, and found a spot on their stairwell hallway in need of some pieces. These custom float mounts should look awesome. These are still in their protective plastic covers….so pardon the wrinkles!
Many congratulations Lynn and Duane!
And a few favorites from their engagement session…
Friends Courtney and Sara pulled together this fun fall mini session in Rock Creek Park. Love these kids, and to see how they have grown since the first time I worked with them (which I think was three years ago?!)
Another fall family session with an alumni family! Working with the Whittakers is always a blast, and so fun to see how the kids are growing. Kim took my photo classes this summer, and has a great eye. But as all shooters know, it’s important to have someone else take your picture once in a while, so you’ll be in some of them! I love these dresses that Kim had made for the girls…so perfect with the fall backdrop.
It’s been three years since I’ve worked with Kandi and her kids and what a treat it was. We met after Hurricane Sandy, but still got lucky with some remaining gorgeous fall color. At the end of our fall session, these little ones gave me some pieces of their Halloween candy. How cute!
We had such a cold day yesterday, but some great fun in the park. Katie was so prepared for this session, her brother in law tagged along for the shoot, carrying the kids coats, but didn’t make himself known until about 15 minutes into the session. She wanted the coats there in case the kids were freezing, but didn’t want them to see them, and therefore, want them! No need, the kids were champs and so fun to work with.
I love that Quentin here found his little overalls pocket:
There are always a few shots from a session that just have something about them that I love, perhaps not contenders for wall art – but they catch my eye anyway. Here are two of those from this session…
