Sarah and Faiz – Washington, D.C. Wedding

DSC_3020Sarah and Faiz are the quintessential Washington, D.C. couple. Total overachiever’s, real do-gooders, and completely humble, approachable human beings. Like, it’s no big deal that Sarah’s gorgeous, incredibly successful, a yoga instructor, oh, and fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Faiz and she met at the Center for American Progress…in fact, CAP’s director, John Podesta, was their officiant. The took their vows at the iconic World War 1 memorial, and held their low-key, elegant reception at U Street’s Project 4 gallery. I am honored to have been a part of their amazing day.

Back to School Mini Session Registration Now Open!

New this fall! Join me for Back to School Mini Sessions! Bring your little one/s with their loaded backpacks and new school shoes over to the house for some silly and spirited portraits. Imagine that they’re hopping on the bus to head back to school, or for the first time. That’s the look that we’re going for!

These mini sessions are for the kids only (not full families).

Just 20 minutes, mini sessions are a great way to grab a seasonal portrait without breaking the bank (or wearing the kiddos out).

September 1
September 14

Location: 1500 Highland Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20910
Price: $100/session – includes an online gallery from which to order additional prints, and an optional in person print consultation.

Mini Sessions typically sell out within the first 24 hours. To register, click here:

Beth, John and three little girls – Family Photography – Georgetown Waterfront, Washington, D.C.

I have worked with Beth, John and their children for so long, that they feel like family. We started together when Margaret, their youngest, was just a few months old. And now, over three years later, three beautiful girls, lots of trust, and a gorgeous and growing wall art display at their home. This is the stuff of a dream job.8

Meeting Molly

I had the pleasure of shooting Rachel and Sam’s wedding two years ago, and was so delighted that they asked me to come shoot their newest addition, little Molly. She’s a precious addition to their fun-loving family. Many congratulations Rachel and Sam!ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageAnd what’s a baby session without a little spit up?! Forgive me, Molly, I couldn’t resist. Image
